The Pokemon GO! TCG set is designed to be reminiscent of the Pokemon GO experience.
Artwork of some Pokemon appear to have jumped into the real world, much like the Pokemon GO AR shots.
Some cards portray Pokemon that have a connection to Pokemon GO, such as the Mythical Pokemon Meltan, who was originally discovered in Pokemon GO. Mobile game features from Pokemon GO are brought to the TCG such as Blissey's illustration who is valiantly defending a Gym. Pokestop, Stadiums and Lure Modules make their way into the game with Trainer cards to help search your deck for lured cards. Team leaders (Candela, Spark, and Blanche) make thier TCG debut as Supporter cards. Some pokemon have new movies referencing the Buddy system.
